In each and every SmartISD web design, we include our easy-to-use SmartISD Content Mangement System. This allows for each and every teacher, staff and administrator in your district the ability to log in via the web and help to manage your website.
SmartISD - K-12 Content Management System
SmartISD is a mature web-based content management system that is extremely easy to use. SmartISD was born of a need to allow administrators and teachers alike the ability to help manage school district's website. We have two different ways we can implement a website design for your school district or school.
Template Web Design
This option is usually the budget-friendly and time-friendly option for most school districts. If your school district is on a budget, then this might be the best option. However, just because this is a template-based web design, this doesn't mean we've scrimped on anything at all. These are all professional designs!
Custom Web Design
This option is usually for the school district that just doesn't want a design that even MIGHT be like any other district. Our custom web designs are truly unique and are designed from the ground-up to your exact specifications.

What's Our Process?
We've spent several years refining our design process. Follow the steps below to view what you should expect each step of the way.
Step 1 - Client Consultation
First, we determine exactly what you want by either meeting with you face-to-face, online via video conference, email, or phone. We ask you several pointed questions help to determine your businesses needs.
Step 2 - Design
The next step is the design phase. We will take your existing logo and work it into your template design. Then we provide one mock up for your approval. If you need further design work, we will just bill you at our standard rate of $75 per hour.
Step 3 - Working Website
Once we have an approved design, we make the HTML that will make your website work. We focus on this stage on making standards compliant HTML and test the code to make sure that it will work in all major browsers and your target screen resolution.
Step 4 - Add your Content
Once the site is working and has been approved by you, you can log into the content manager and add your content. If you want, we can work with you at this stage on creating sales copy for your pages that will work with your target audience.
Step 5 - Launch
Once the site has content and has been approved for launch, we'll move it to the "live" website and you're ready to start marketing your website!
