Administrators can edit or update the website from any computer with an Internet connection. There's no need to buy proprietary editors such as Microsoft Frontpage or Adobe Dreamweaver. All you need is a web browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.
Our website management system is as easy as using a word processor. If a teacher or administrator can use Microsoft Word, they can typically manage their Smart ISD website.
Sharing information with students, parents, and teachers is made easy by allowing administrators to easily update the content of the website with the most recent information.
Administrators can give permissions to groups of users, such as teachers, to create and control their own websites, while blocking them from editing other websites within the district website.
Calendars for the school district and individual campuses are integrated into SmartISD to allow others to know what is happening at the schools.
Lunch menus are integrated into SmartISD so that parents and students can look on the website to plan for the upcoming days.
